Day 1:
Hanoi - Lao Cai (Dinner)
Transfer to Hanoi railway station. Dinner in a typical restaurant. Overnight on the train to Lao Cai.
Day 2:
Lao Cai - Sapa (Breakfast, Lunch)
Transfer by train from Lao Cai to Sapa. Breakfast in a typical restaurant. Departure to visit to the village of Lao Chai inhabited by the ethnic minority of the Black H’mong. Then take a short and easy hike to get to the village of Tavan inhabited by the ethnic minority of the Dzay. Lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon departure for the village of Sin Chai of the Tay minority. Return to Sapa and transfer to the hotel.
Day 3:
Sapa - Lao Cai - Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
Departure from Sapa to visit the largest traditional market in the region, where all ethnic minorities meet to trade their products. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Transfer from the market to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train to Hanoi.
Day 4:
Hanoi (Breakfast)
Arrival in Hanoi. Transfer from the station to a typical restaurant. Breakfast in a typical restaurant.
