Program details
Departure for Kanchanaburi, where we visit the famous River Kwai Bridge and the War Museum, a small open-air museum with a collection of photographs, images, articles, guns, knives and tools used for the construction of the "Death Railway". Afterwards we pay a visit to the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, where more than 6000 prisoners of war are buried. We continue to the Hellfire Pass, a cut in the rocks made by hand by the prisoners to permit a single rail to pass through. Lunch in a typical restaurant. After lunch, we proceed to visit the Prasat Mueang Sing, the ruins of an ancient city belonging to the Khmer empire. Return to Bangkok.
