Programme
Day 1:
Lima
Upon your arrival in Lima, a transportation service will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to your hotel. You will have the afternoon free so you can explore the city and discover the restaurants and bars it offers. Overnight at the hotel in Lima.
Day 2:
Lima
Get ready to explore the old town of Lima, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, which is full of fascinating historical buildings. The route begins with the Larco Museum, located in the traditional district of Pueblo Libre and housed in a beautifully restored colonial mansion, which in turn is built on a pre-Columbian pyramid from the 7th century. The museum has a very complete pre-Hispanic collection of gold and silver objects, as well as pieces of erotic art. Next, head to Casa Aliaga, a colonial mansion granted in 1535 by the conquistador Francisco Pizarro to one of his captains, Jerónimo de Aliaga. This is the only house from that time that still belongs to the same family. Continue with a scenic drive through the colonial center. Visit the Plaza de Armas, where you can appreciate the grandiose architecture of the Spanish Empire. There is its magnificent Cathedral, built in the 16th century.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Magical Circuit of Aguas de Lima, a modern pool system (certified as the largest in the world by the Guinness World Records) built in the Exhibition Park that attracts crowds during summer and Winter consolidating as one of the new attractions of Lima. After your visit you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Lima. Breakfast included.
Day 3:
Lima
You will have the morning free to explore the city. On this day you can take advantage of taking an optional excursion according to what you like the most. Art, gastronomy, culture, nature, Lima has it for you.
In the afternoon, a vehicle will transfer you from your hotel in Lima to the airport to board your flight out of the city. Breakfast included.
