Programme

Day 1:
Arrival in Athens
Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, you will be met with our driver and transferred to your hotel, where our representative will be waiting to deliver the envelope with all necessary documents. Balance of the day at leisure. Accommodation in Athens.

Day 2:
Athens City tour with Acropolis Museum
Breakfast at your hotel and pick up in the morning, at the indicated time for a half-day tour of the city of Athens, regular basis, that includes guided panoramic tour of the city and visit of the Acropolis and the museum of Acropolis. Pick up from your hotel and return to your hotel. Duration about 5 hours.

Our Athens Half Day Tour begins with a panoramic drive around Syntagma square, passing by many sightseeing hot spots such as National Garden, Hadrian’s Arch, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Catholic Cathedral and Schliemann’s House. We will then drive past the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. Our licensed guide will make you feel as if you are experiencing firsthand Athens’s old and new history as you look at these stately buildings. We continue for a photo stop at Panathenaic Stadium, otherwise known as Kallimarmaro Stadium, where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. As we proceed, we pass by Zappeion and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Last but not least, we make our way to the archaeological site of Acropolis, an UNESCO’S world heritage monument and we visit Propylae, as well as the small Temple of Athena Nike. Of course, our visit shall not be completed without the Parthenon and Erechtheion. The expert-guided Athens sightseeing and museum tour continues with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the Acropolis Museum.
If you wish, when the tour ends you can stay walking through the picturesque streets of the Plaka neighborhood and return to the hotel on your own. Rest of the day free and accommodation.

Day 3:
Οne day cruise
Early breakfast and at the indicated time pick from your hotel and transfer to the Port, you'll set sail for the 3 islands of the Argosaronic Gulf. As soon as the cruise ship leaves, the ship’s guide and the hostesses will help you get acquainted and shall give you all the information concerning the ship, the program of the cruise and to make sure you will have a pleasant day.
Take advantage of this day cruise from Athens to the fabulous Greek islands of Hydra, Poros and Aegina for a relaxing day on the sea. With all your transport, transfers and buffet lunch organized, you can sit back and enjoy your leisurely day cruise with free time on each island to explore.
The island of Hydra is the favorite island of the jet set, whose old traditional beautiful stone houses and mansions silently witness to a long and turbulent story. Although Poros is the smallest of the three islands that we visit, its attraction is the narrow strait offering the most enchanting view of the town. Buffet lunch on board. Aegina is a popular getaway for Athenians during the summer months, as this lovely island is only 31 miles (50 kilometers) from Athens. Upon arrival to the island, you can either join an optional excursion to the Temple of Aphaia or take a walk around the main town. On our way back to Athens, a traditional Greek folk show with singers and dancers will entertain you up to the final moment as the ship arrives at the port, from where you will be transferred back to Athens approx. at 20.00 in the afternoon. Day 4:
Full day Delphi with lunch:
Early breakfast and at the indicated time pick from your hotel .Drive through the fertile plain of Beotia, crossing the towns of Thebes connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus - Levadia and Arachova (short stop on the way back).
Arrive at Delphi, the center of Ancient World - the "Omphalos" (Navel of Earth) - whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic World. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias. Lunch in the modern village of Delphi, return to Athens by the same route. Return to Athens. Overnight stay in Athens

Day 5:
Full day Argolis with lunch:
Early breakfast and at the indicated time pick from your hotel. Leave by the coastal road along the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal, which connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea, (short stop). Drive to Mycenae, the Homeric city of Atreides, the city "rich in gold" of the ancient poets. Visit the Lion's Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, and the Royal Tombs e.t.c. Depart for Nauplion through the fertile plain of Argolis, the picturesque town nestling at the foot of a cliff crowned by the mighty ramparts of the Palamidi Fortress (short photo stop), leave for Epidauros, to visit the Theatre (4th century B.C.) famous for its astonishing acoustics. Lunch in a local restaurant in Mycenae. Return to Athens by the National road connecting Epidauros with Corinth. Overnight stay in Athens.

Day 6:
Departure from Athens
Breakfast at the hotel, morning at leisure, and at the indicated time, depending on your departure flight, transfer to Athens International Airport.
