DEPARTURE FROM THE PORT OF LAEM CHABANG (near Pattaya) between 09:00 and 10:00 depending on the customers' disembarkation time. Meet the guide at the disembarkation point. After about 2 hours and a half of transfer, you will arrive in BANGKOK, where the visits begin. We visit to the Grand Palace, the nation’s landmark and most sacred complex of monuments and temples of Thailand, with the enclosed and dazzling Wat Phra Keo and its sacred Emerald Buddha, the Golden Chedi, the Pantheon of the Chakri Kings and the Eight Colored Towers. Photography is permitted everywhere on the Grand Palace grounds but not inside the temples. It is required to dress respectfully by not wearing singlets, shorts or skirts. Long sleeves and long trousers/skirts are strongly advised. It is compulsory to take off the shoes before entering any temple. Transfer to the pier for an excursion on the waters of the bustling Chao Phya River to explore the klongs (canals) by long tail boat. This excursion will show you a different Bangkok, where people still live in a more traditional way. This part of Bangkok is totally devoid of high rise buildings, shopping malls and traffic jams. We end the day with a visit at the glorious Wat Arun, a.k.a. the Temple of Dawn. Return to Laem Chabang in time for boarding.Notes:
