Departure from the Hotel via the BTS (skytrain) and the MRT (underground metro) to reach Hua Lamphong station, famous for the passage of the famous Orient Express. From here, you walk to Wat Traimit or better known as the Temple of the Golden Buddha; inside there is a Buddha of more than 50 tons of Gold and it is located at the gates of China Town. You then continue, always on foot, to visit Chinatown, one of the oldest parts of the city. Here you can discover and admire the myriad of shops, herbalists, restaurants and emporiums in the area. Crossing Yaowarat road and its local market, you arrive at the Wat Mangkon Kamalawat temple, one of the most important Chinese temples in the city. From here, take the MRT again to Sanam Chai station to visit the famous flower market, a bustling market active 24 hours a day where most of the flower crowns and decorations for all the temples in the city are prepared. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then continue by tuk tuk to the Royal Palace, symbol of the nation and most glorified monument in the whole country. Inside you visit Wat Phra Keo which houses the Emerald Buddha, the Golden Chedi, the Pantheon of the Chakri Kings and the Eight Colored Towers. Continue with a visit to Wat Pho, famous for the presence inside of the reclining Buddha, the largest and oldest temple in Bangkok. Cross the Chao Praya River to visit the last temple of the day, Wat Arun or also known as the Temple of Dawn (so called for the wonderful chromatic effects that the morning light gives it). Return to hotel by public boat to Saphan Taksin pier and BTS or MRT.
