Détails programme
Pick up at the hotel for a very rich excursion around Samui. The starting point is an elephant training camp, where we'll enjoy a small safari through coconut plantations and forest. Later the elephants will demonstrate their skills and intelligence in an amazing performance. Transfer to the Monkey Training Camp, to see how the monkeys are trained to climb the palms and collect the coconuts. Leaving the interior of the island we head to Bho Phut, where we visit the Temple of the Great Buddha, probably the most famous landmark of Samui. From here we get to the view point, from where we see the white sand of Chaweng Beach, along the east coast. We continue to the naughty "grandfather and grandmother rocks", bizarre formations that very closely resemble the male and female genitals, clearly one of the most photographed places on the island. Transfer to Wat Khunaram, where lies the mummified body of Samui's most revered monk, still sitting in meditation and, it is believed, not quite dead yet. We return to nature by visiting the spectacular 30-meter-high Na Muang waterfall, surrounded by a forest of great beauty. Transfer to Nathon, the main city and port of the island, to devote some time to shopping, since here the prices are cheaper than on the beaches. Return to the hotel.
