Programa

Day 1:
Muscat
Arrive at Muscat International Airport. Handling of customs formalities, baggage collection and meeting at the arrivals hall with our representative. Transfer to reach your hotel.
Check in and overnight at Hotel

Day 2:
Muscat – City tour
Distance: about 110km
After breakfast, at the scheduled time, meet our representative who will deliver the rental vehicle to you, so that you can start the tour of the city of Muscat. Muscat offers the opportunity to experience a modern center for commerce, in harmony with cultural tradition. With its natural port, Muscat means precisely "port", and the town is surrounded by rocky mountains, the location is unique in the world. Visits to the Grand Mosque (Open daily from 08.00 to 11.00, except on Fridays and public holidays. Dress: both men and women must cover their arms and legs. Women must also cover their heads with a scarf. children under the age of 10 are not allowed in the mosque) and the Bait Al Zubair Museum (closed on Fridays) provide insight into Oman's past history and development. Drive along the waterfront Cornice, before visiting the Fish Market and colorful Muttrah Souq. Stop to photograph the magnificent Al Alam Palace; flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts of Jalali and Mirani.

Day 3:
Muscat - Bilat Sayt - Jebal Shams
Distance: about 300km
After breakfast, check out to explore the Batinah coast and the local Barka market. After a short tour of this market, visit Nakhl Fort (ticket not included). This fort was once served by the Imam Bani Kharous and Ya'arubah dynasties. The recent renovation of the building has allowed us to rediscover the original features. The old village of Nakhl is located near the fort, nestled in an attractive Oasis. Relax by the warm shallow waters of the famous Nakhl Springs.
Continue with your vehicle to the western part of the Hajjar Mountains. The journey continues through Wadi Bani Awf (you need to have a good 4x4 vehicle for this stretch and also be an excellent driver. Instead of doing this off road you can take the paved road to get to Al Hamra) until you get to the village of Bilad Sait. Lunch en route and proceed to Al Hamra. Finally we go to the highest mountain in Oman, Jebal Shams.

Day 4:
Jebal Shams – Misfah - Al Hamra – Bahla – Jibreen - Nizwa (Distance: about 200km)
Today, after breakfast, check out and leave for Misfah Al Abrieyeen to visit the village. The journey continues to Al Hamra. Take a stroll through the old village and see the old mud houses that housed several generations before being abandoned. After this visit we reach Bahla, for a photographic stop at the famous Bahla Fort, registered in the UNESCO list. From here continue to Jibreen Castle, famous for its Arabic inscriptions and paintings. After this visit we proceed in the direction of Nizwa.
Overnight at Hotel in Nizwa

Day 5:
Nizwa - Birkat Al Mauz – Ibra - Wahiba (Distance: about 280 km)
Today, after breakfast, check out and visit Nizwa Fort (ticket not included) and traditional Souq. From here you reach Birkat Al Mauz to visit the oases and continue in the direction of Ibra. Visit the Ibra market before proceeding to the desert. Arrive at Mintrib Shell petrol station and meet the camp representative at a prearranged time, who will escort you to Sama Al Wasil or Arabian Oryx Camp. Arrival and check in at the camp.
Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 6:
Wahiba-Wadi Bani Khalid-Ras Al Hadd (Distance: about 200km)
After breakfast, check out and departure for Wadi Bani Khalid. Here it is possible to enjoy a nice swim in the cool waters of the natural pools. Later we arrive in Ras Al Hadd.
Arrival and check in hotel.
After dinner, if you wish, you can go to the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve to admire the turtles that come to this beach at night (ticket not included).
Dinner and overnight at Beach Resort.

Day 7:
Ras Al Hadd – Sur - Wadi Tiwi – Fins - Bimmah Sinkhole - Muscat (Distance: about 260km)
After breakfast, proceed with your vehicle towards Sur for a short visit of the city and the famous factory that produces typical dhow boats. The journey continues to Wadi Tiwi to visit the village. Next proceed to Fins Beach and later stop at Bimmah Sinkhole to admire the limestone crater before continuing to Muscat. Arrival in the evening and check in at Hotel.

Day 8:
Muscat
Today is at your complete disposal. Transfer to the airport in time for the return flight. The rooms are available until 12.00.
