Departure from Bangkok to reach the Bang Pa In Summer Palace, the place where the royals of Thailand took refuge to escape the heat of Bangkok in the summer. You will stroll through peaceful gardens, embellished with ponds covered with lotus flowers and beautiful residences, each built in a unique style as a fusion of traditional Siamese style and European styles in vogue at the time. You will visit the most particular palaces before leaving for nearby Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Siam, founded in 1350. Arrival at the Archaeological Park, one of the richest in all of Asia, and visit the most important temples: Wat Mahathat, Wat Phrasrisanphet and Wat Mongkolbophit. You will set off again north to reach Lopburi, one of the oldest Thai cities, in the past an important center for the diffusion of Buddhism. You will visit Phra Prang Sam Yot and Sarn Prakarn Kala, two temples frequented by hundreds of monkeys. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Return to Bangkok. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
