Day 1:
BANGKOK - KANCHANABURI (Lunch, Dinner)
Morning departure to visit Damnern Saduak, the famous floating market. Along the way, we visit the fresh market in Mae Klong, known as the Railway Market, unique because of the train that passes through it at certain times of the day, forcing vendors to move their goods in a hurry but just for a few minutes. Visit to the Damnern Saduak floating market, where dozens of farmers paddle their little boats loaded with fruits, vegetables and foods to buy and sell from boat to boat, creating a floating market.
Transfer to Kanchanaburi, the town of the bridge on the river Kwai, whose construction by allied prisoners during World War II was made into the movie that made it famous worldwide.
Arrival in Kanchanaburi and visit of the J.E.A.T.H. museum.
Lunch in a typical restaurant.
After lunch we take a train for a short but spectacular ride on the famous Death Railway, built by the POW under Japanese captivity.
Transfer to the hotel.
Dinner at the hotel.
Day 2:
KANCHANABURI - BANGKOK - TRAIN TO SURAT THANI (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast we head to the river for a boat trip to reach Sai Yok waterfall, passing through unspoiled nature of great beauty.
Arrival at the waterfall.
Lunch in a typical restaurant.
Departure to reach Prasat Mueang Sing, an ancient city once part of the Khmer empire.
Transfer to Bangkok.
Arrival and transfer to railway station to board an overnight train to Surat Thani.
Overnight in first class cabins (each cabin has two bunks).
Day 3:
SURAT THANI - KHAO SOK (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Arrival in Surat Thani and meeting with the guide. Breakfast and departure for Khao Sok National Park.
Arrival at Khao Sok, also known as the Guilin of Thailand. Famous for its gigantic cliffs that rise into the sky, this national park is perhaps Thailand's most spectacular. This is a tour into one of the few pristine rain forests of the country, rich in biodiversity and truly amazing in its natural beauty.
Lunch at the park's restaurant.
After lunch we embark on a long tail boat for a 4 hours cruise, slowly moving down a river flanked by vertical cliffs covered with jungle.
Transfer to the hotel, located in a nearby valley and surrounded by forest.
Dinner at the hotel.
Day 4:
SURAT THANI (Breakfast, Lunch)
Early morning departure to visit the limestone caves of Khamin, full with stalagmites and stalactites and natural habitat for hundreds of bats.
Afterwards we continue to Wat Phra Chaiya Borommathat, a very important temple located in Chaiya, one of the oldest cities of Thailand.
Lunch in a typical restaurant.
Transfer to the airport.
