Tour Campania Spring - Summer

Program

Day 1:
Saturday: Naples orsurroundings
Arrival in Naples and accomodation in one of the planned Hotels (check-in starts at 4:00
p.m.). Before dinner, meet with your guide. Welcome cocktail and presentation of the Tour.
Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 2:
Sunday: Island of Capri
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart by boat to the island of Capri, a wonderful expression of nature,
history and glamor. Visit of Villa San Michele. Free time for lunch on your own. In the
afternoon transfer to the Gardens of Augustus where you will admire the famous Farallones
and Marina Piccola. Free time and then meeting of the partecipants at the pier for the return.
Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 3:
Monday: Sorrento / Pompeii
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Sorrento. Walk through the historical centre.
We will stop at a renowned local factory for a Limoncello-making demonstration with a tasting, followed
by a visit to a farm to enjoy typical local products and wine.
In the afternoon, visit the ruins of Pompeii, the ancient city buried under ash during the eruption of 79 AD.
Enjoy dinner at a traditional restaurant with live musical accompaniment known as "Posteggia”.
Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 4:
Tuesday: Naples/Rione Sanità/Catacombs of San Gennaro
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit of the historic center of Naples where we will admire the Church of Santa Clara and its cloister,
the Cathedral of San Gennaro and the artisan shops of San Gregorio Armeno.
Lunch during the excursion with pizza tasting and a traditional dish of Neapolitan cuisine.
In the afternoon, guided visit to the Catacombs of San Gennaro and walk through the Rione Sanità.
Transfer to one of the planned Hotels, accomodation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5:
Wednesday: Positano*/ Amalfi *
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by regular ferry to Positano, one of the most beautiful
coastal towns in Italy. Enjoy approximately 1 hour of free time to explore the village built on
the rock. The tour will continue by regular ferry to Amalfi. Lunch in a restaurant and free time
available in the historic centre.
Departure to Salerno by ferry.
Return to the Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

*IMPORTANT : In case of adverse marine weather conditions or other operational reasons that
prevent the ferry from departing, the excursion will be replaced with a similar one.

Day 6:
Thursday: Visit to a Cheese Factory with tasting / Excavations of Paestum / Salerno
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Paestum. Visit to the production areas of “Mozzarella
di Bufala Campana” with tasting. Then visit the archaeological excavations of Paestum.
Lunch during the excursion.
In the afternoon, enjoy a walk through the city of Salerno.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7:
Friday: Royal Palace of Caserta
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Caserta to visit the majestic Royal Palace and the
Vanvitelliano Park.
Lunch and in the afternoon continuation to Naples or surrounding area, accommodation at the hotel.
Free time, dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 8:
Saturday: Naples orsurroundings
Breakfast at the hotel and the end of our services.

THE PRICE INCLUDES:
- GT coach and Tour Leader/ Regional guide ( Multilingual service available on request ) from dinner on the day of arrival until the end of the last excursion the day before departure.
- Half Board (breakfast and dinner) during the entire tour, from dinner on the 1st day to breakfast on the 8th day in Hotel or in a partner Restaurant . Fixed regional menu with 3 courses Menu and drinks (1/4 liter of wine and 1⁄2 liter of water per person) .
- Local culinary, wine experiences and maritime transfers included, as specified in the itinerary.
- 1/4 liter of wine and 1⁄2 liter of water per person included during meals

- Use of audio-receiving devices throughout the duration of the tour
