Program details

Departure for Kanchanaburi. We start with a visit at the Bridge over the river Kwai and the War Museum, a small open-air museum where original pictures, articles, weapons and tools used by the prisoners are displayed. We pay a visit to the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, burial place of more than 6,000 prisoners who lost their lives building the "Death Railway". Next stop is at the Hellfire Pass Memorial, a cut in the rocks of a mountain dug by hand to allow the passage a railway track. Lunch at a typical restaurant. After lunch we visit the Prasat Mueang Sing, the remains of ancient city belonging to the Khmer empire. Return to Bangkok.
